This community workshop offers a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore where you are in your life journey through collage, symbolism, and guided creative reflection.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, navigating change, experiencing stress, burnout, grief, or simply seeking greater clarity and connection, this workshop provides a gentle and accessible introduction to holistic, somatic art therapy.
No artistic experience is required.
What Is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is a creative and evidence-informed approach that uses visual expression, imagery, colour, symbolism, and creative processes to support emotional wellbeing, self-awareness, and personal growth.
Unlike traditional art classes, art therapy focuses on the process rather than artistic skill or the final artwork.
Creative expression can help people:
- Reduce stress and anxiety
- Improve emotional regulation
- Explore thoughts and feelings safely
- Increase self-awareness
- Support healing and resilience
- Connect with creativity and personal meaning
What You Will Experience
During this free workshop you will be guided through:
- Reflective art therapy activities
- Strength Metaphoric Cards
- Intuitive collage making
- Symbolic creative exploration
- Guided self-reflection
- Intention setting for the second half of the year
Using the Active Kreative methodology — grounded in the four-stage journey of Initiation → Creation → Activation → Affirmation — participants are invited to explore their current stage of life through the Cycle of Life framework, and identify what is ready to be nurtured, celebrated, released, or transformed.

Benefits of Creative Healing
Research continues to show that engaging in creative activities can support mental health, emotional resilience, stress reduction, and overall wellbeing.
At Active Kreative, creativity is viewed not simply as artistic expression, but as a pathway toward greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal transformation.
Through art-making, reflection, and symbolic exploration, participants can access insights that are often difficult to express through words alone.

I created this Creative Reset Workshop as a gift
an invitation to sit with yourself in a gentle, creative way and to honour everything this year has brought into your life.
During our time together, I will guide you through:
✨ a soft reflection on your stage of life
✨ noticing what has supported you and what has challenged you
✨ identifying what you are ready to release
✨ recognising the inner strengths that carried you
✨ opening space for your intentions and energy for Term 3- 4
We’ll be using Strength Metaphoric Cards, intuitive drawing, collage, and symbolic art-making — simple, beautiful tools that allow your inner voice to speak without needing words.
You don’t need any artistic skills. You only need to come as you are.
My intention is for you to leave feeling lighter, clearer, grounded, and more connected to yourself.
This session is also a warm doorway into thecCreative Circle 2026, beginning end of July — a half year-long journey of creative healing and personal renewal. If you’ve been curious about joining, this is the perfect way to feel the space, meet me, and experience the method.
